  • Unified Past – TBA

    Melodic Revolution Records is excited to announce that the US progressive rock band Unified Past has announced that they are hard at work on their next CD. This is the band’s first release in two years and is the follow-up to their highly regarded 2013 recording “Spots”. The CD will contain six power prog songs that have a running time of 55 minutes. The recordings are nearly completed and the production of the upcoming, as yet untitled, new release will be handled by Frank Tassone. The band is hopeful to release the new album by mid to late summer of 2015. The CD art will once again be designed by critically acclaimed fantasy artist Ed Unitsky, known for his work with such greats as The Flower Kings, Starcastle and Unitopia to name but a few.

  • Fields – "Contrasts – From Urban Roar to Country Peace"

    "Contrasts”, the only album by the UK band Fields, originally recorded in 1972, was then perplexingly shelved by CBS Records and remained consigned to the vaults for over forty years. The original master tapes of the album were recently located, and have been remastered as "Contrasts – From Urban Roar to Country Peace" with the full involvement of bandleader Graham Field. Now Esoteric Recordings presents it for the first time with this 11-track release. Line-up: Graham Field – organ; Frank Farrell (ex-Supertramp) – vocals, basss, guitars; Andy McCullock (ex-King Crimson) – drums. Release date: March 30, 2015.
